Alaska National Guard Free Vehicle Registration
An Alaska resident who is a current member in the Alaska National Guard is entitled to one non-commercial free vehicle registration.
The Applicant must provide the relevant section (showing Name, SSN and Unit) dated within 30 days:
Air National Guard members – vMPF (virtual Military Personnel Flight)
Army National Guard members – PQR (Personnel Qualification Record)
Valid Active Duty Military ID
If applying for an original title and registration you must also complete Form V1.
Alaska Resident National Guard Hunting and Fishing Licenses
Alaska offers a complimentary annual hunting and fishing license for residents actively serving in:
Alaska’s National Guard
U.S. Army Reserves
U.S. Air Force Reserves
U.S. Navy Reserves
U.S. Marine Corps Reserves
U.S. Coast Guard Reserve
